Project
Project code: A/21/14

Budget: 23,911 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: digitalization, adoption, acceptance, promotion of sustainable technologies, farmers survey
As in all sectors of the economy, innovative technologies are also available to agriculture. Nevertheless, farmers in Bavaria are still hesitant to adopt digital technologies. Targeted support programs from the federal and state governments are intended to help close this gap and ensure that digitization makes agriculture environmentally compatible, conducive to animal welfare and competitive. In order to support the promotion of sustainable digital technologies, their use by farmers should be recorded at appropriate intervals and possible concerns should be explored. The aim of the project is the comprehensive further development and establishment of a monitoring platform for the use of digital technologies in practice and the implementation of a Bavarian-wide survey among farmers.
