The subject of the R&D project is the development of a Farm Operating System (FOS). The main goal is to automatically gather data of different structure, to homogenise the data and make it accessible via an intuitive, easy-to-use and interactive graphical user interface (GUI). This gives farm managers a new analytical and holistic view of their agricultural ecosystem. On the basis of this well-structured farm management system, even the smallest set screws can be identified and controlled purposeful manner. Furthermore, the possibility to analyse and forecast the effects of measures allows for informed and targeted activities with regard to the economic and ecological objectives of the business.
