The aim of the project is to clarify which measures taken by organically producing companies in the scab year 2021 were suitable for preventing or at least adequately regulating the infestation. The different strategies that led to the clear differences in treatment success in 2021 are to be compared with each other by variety. In addition to the direct measures (use of pesticides), the cultural and preventive measures should also be included in the considerations and thus help to provide the companies with a promising strategy that takes the respective variety into account.
