The overall project goal to establish a georeferenced database and the spatially differentiated, cross-media modelling of nitrogen fluxes as basis for the development and optimisation of policy measures to achieve climate protection goals in the field of agriculture. For the first time, region-specific farm and management structures and their influence on agricultural nitrogen emissions are to be mapped in high regional resolution for Germany.
