The key objective of ET4D is the validation and expantion of the reporting frame of a data management system (DMS) with embedded sensors for on-farm use. It shall permit to collect and preprocess data from dairy cattle barns and making it available to various interest groups via a web application. In order to ensure the necessary data transfer rates, data transfer patterns are examined in detail and adjusted if necessary. In addition, the expectations and information needs of different data users are systematically examined in order to enable the provision of target group-specific reports via the web application.
