Purpose of research: Experimental development
As part of this project, a new robust method for detecting of the densitiy of the seeds or grain distribution should be developed and tested in drills, which the disadvantages, eg inaccuracies due to sensor contamination, avoids. For this purpose, an electronic sensor system has been developed that recognizes individual seeds or evidence. For evaluation, an electronic circuit is used with a digital signal processor or a microcontroller with appropriate software, which allows a proper identification of a seed grain.
