Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment

Project goal is the development of strategies to promote agriculture as a social perspective, especially for organic farms. This laid the groundwork for the creation and establishment of such a nationwide network will be laid. Whose steadying will be realized through the speech, and involvement of different carrier. Based on preliminary work in the SOFAR project will research on the key social economic diversity of ecological agriculture in Germany carried out. About the growers' associations and institutions of social work case examples of innovative social organic farms to be found. Selected farms of different user groups are consulted on their development barriers and prospects. Researched, will come the institution concerned, the steadying support of a network of ecological agriculture, social economic saving initiatives. There will be a workshop meeting dates and are presented in which the institutions of the strengths, development constraints and potentials of agriculture in terms of social development and funding options. - The implementation of a public meeting is for general information about the topic. Social Services Social agriculture and its value to society should represent the public and will be presented and demonstrated the range of activities. For this purpose also serves as a project website. The transfer of knowledge into practice is central to the project plan, based on the initiation and continuation of the network 'Social agriculture aimed at organic farms in Germany.' This is achieved through the promotion, which will be issued as part of the planned meeting, but especially through the internet. Should be addressed so that farmers, different user groups and social institutions of agriculture and the social services and counseling.
