Yield stability and quality management of agricultural crops
Project
Project code: JKI-PB-08-0053
Contract period: 01.01.2008
- 31.12.2020
Purpose of research: Applied research
Estimating the yield potential of cultivated plants under changed climatic conditions is important for yield forecasting and as ?crises precaution?. Physiological plant characteristics are studied e.g. via non-destructive measuring of canopy surface temperature and plant water status based on optoelectronic methods. An important working tool forms a new rain shelter facility which was put into use on the experimental fields of the Institute of Crop and Soil Science in the fall of 2008. With the help of the rain shelter, experimental questions on the water household on the testing site can be completely explored.
