Purpose of research: Applied research
In the course of the previous project 02OE462 titled 'Life cycle assessment and production efficiency of dairy farms with different intensity of organic farms' characteristics on environmental impact and production of different organically producing dairy farms in two regions of Germany (Swabia / Allgäu and North Rhine-Westphalia) were collected. The follow-up project builds on the previous data and is also supplemented by economic data reports from multi-year surveys. To increase the representativeness of the East German Data dairy farms are included in the investigations. For the participating companies to develop scenarios for adaptability to changing conditions (including the production structure, income, support payments) show. Site conditions and production intensities found in this regard.
