Purpose of research: Applied research
For three years are charged by the Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia in the framework of the 'Leading Organic Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia' data on over 100 ecologically managed dairy farms to the complexes feeding situation, performance and fertility events, and animal health status. Among the topics of feeding situation and performance event data structure and density are suitable to perform statistical evaluations. The aim of this project is to undertake a systematic evaluation of available data on the feeding situation and performance of dairy cattle events in organic farming, to analyze the various causal relationships between the parameters and thus to contribute to the development of feeding recommendations.
