Project
Project code: 2809OE087
Contract period: 01.01.2011
- 31.12.2011
Budget: 55,180 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
In organic carp production, the use of animal feed is highly regulated. Generally get the fish a diet of grain. In organic carp production may to only organically grown grain to be fed. The use of expensive organic grain compared to conventionally produced grain makes a profitable carp production with environmental guidelines. A nutritionally efficient and cost effective alternative to organic crop could improve the profitability of organic carp production and facilitate the decision to switch from conventional to organic production. In the mechanical cleaning of grain falls to finery. Finery is a mixture of broken cereal grains, seeds and insect remains lower. The cost finery grain is used in organic farming as feed material in mammals and poultry. In accordance with environmental guidelines finery is also used as a cereal Zufutter in carp production. Positive experiences can be a good practical applicability of finery
grain suspect for carp breeding. The proposed project will therefore examine whether finery a viable and effective grain feeding variation in organic production is carp. To minimize dust losses to pelleted grain finery compared with conventional corn in feeding the carp in the wild as can be evaluated in the laboratory.
