The aim of this project is to develop a centralized, systematic, database-driven overview of the currently available data on the organic market and constantly keep up to date. The available production and market data is methodically analyzed to determine the significance of the various data sources and to inform the market participants founded on this basis. The project is divided into two areas. Here are a hand continuously the contents of an existing Access database for the systematic collection and compilation of data on production and marketing of organic products in Germany updated database structures adapted to generate internet presentations of the content and interface solutions developed on an Internet-based business solution. On the other hand, the major primary sources of data and its resulting market data intensive methodological and qualitative evaluation are subjected. Improving the quality and capacity of existing, possibly heterogeneous data and they should be housed in a process of data integration on a common basis. The aim is primarily to determine the validity and realism of the corresponding data reviewed and intersections to identify the various data. The results are commented on specially prepared publications and presentation of results via the Internet portal provided.
