Investigation, and if so what problems occur for consumer policy in the acquisition and use of timeshare in the scope of Directive 94/47/EC in Germany and other EU Member States by persons resident in Germany. It is important to differentiate between problems in terms of the applicable law on the one hand, and problems with enforcement of existing consumer protective legislation in this area on the other. Comparative investigation of whether and if so what problems exist in this sector in other Member States (especially Austria, Great Britain, France, Spain and the Netherlands).
