Organic farming - use of plant strengtheners and botanicals

Purpose of research: Applied research
Plant strengtheners and 'botanicals' (plant extracts) and other pesticides of natural origin are subject to the EU Regulation 1107/2009 and the Plant Protection Act (Pflanzenschutzgesetz) which have new provisions regarding filing and registration. The aim of the project is to close the identified gaps for organic farming and to support the availability of essential drugs in an application (eg as raw materials) and by carrying out the necessary investigations. The project focuses on the preparations that are used in the regulation of fungal diseases and represent elements in the copper minimization strategy.
