Purpose of research: Experimental development
The new mobile and plot specific management system (e-BAs) to support the integrated crop production of winter wheat was developed. It is based on Decision Support Systems (DSS) developed by ZEPP and provides additionally recommendations and plant disease assessments on a regional level given by the public crop protection services of the federal states of Germany. The MS is based on a client-server technology. Plot specific data is stored on the server so that it is available year-round. The presentation of results and notifications given by the predictive models for plant diseases depends on the appearance of development stages of the plants and is done on lists and maps. This information enables the precise use of pesticides according to the rules of integrated pest management. The beta version of e-BAs will be available on Google PlayStore during the 2018 season.
