Purpose of research: Applied research
New boom sprayers are equipped with automatic systems for switching boom sections in order to avoid overlaps (overdosing) or gaps (underdos ing) when applying PPPs. Until recently no feasable methods and schemes are available for evaluat ing the accuracy of these systems also comparing with manual solutions.
