Purpose of research: Applied research

The present study seeks to examine whether humane stunning and killing of non-viable piglets by using non-penetrating captive bolt is possible and whether it can be used as an alternative stunning and killing method on farm level. Three non-penetrating captive bolts are used in the planned investigations.
