Preservation and collection of microorganisms with importance to food safety, spoilage and nutrition (genetic resources); molecular typing and characterisation of pathogenic and toxigenic microorganisms
Project
Project code: MRI-MBT-08-306
Contract period: 01.01.2001
- 31.12.2021
Purpose of research: Applied research
The collection of microorganisms consists primarily of toxigenic species, foodborne pathogens and spoilage organisms. The collections exists since several decades and is an important source for experimental microbiological work. Moreover, the collection is also an important genetic resource.
