Purpose of research: Applied research
The correct identification and quantification of pharmaceutical compounds in farmyard manures and fertilizers from secondary raw material is becoming of increasing importance because these compounds are an unknown risk for soils, soil organisms, and groundwater. The long-term consequences of pharmaceutical compounds and their metabolites on plant growth and plant quality are largely unknown. It is the target of this project to establish sensitive methods for the identification and quantification of pharmaceutical compounds in farmyard manures and fertilizers from secondary raw materials
