Purpose of research: Applied research
A prerequisite for many biotechnological studies is the availability of rooted in vitro plantlets originating from somatic embryos. For many genotypes, the rate of conversion of germinating embryos to rooted plantlets has to be increased by optimization of various culture conditions within established regeneration protocols.
