Individual objectives are: • Establishment of a transparent, broadly supported branch standard as basis for the certification of inputs for organic farming • Additional security tools for Association Standards in order to hedge the area of inputs and to make it more consistent with the principles of organic farming • Additional security tools for quality-orientated traders, farmers and manufacturers of organic products • Services for manufacturers of inputs who would like to have their products certified and wish or need an appropriate labelling option (QA instrument, marketing instrument) • Orientation guides for environment-conscious private gardeners when buying inputs for the private garden area
