Aim of the project is the breeding of new self-compatible sour cherry cultivars with high fruit quality and processing ability, with resistance or tolerance to Monilinia ssp., Blumeriella jaapii, Pseudomonas syringae and spring frost.The project is orientated to improved and resistant sour cherry cultivars. It conduces to consumer protection.
