The ecological floriculture is currently positioned at an extreme niche. Both in basic production techniques as well as in marketing there are large deficits. The project aims to contribute to the development and promotion of organic ornamental plant. In order to set appropriate stimuli, is described with relevant experts, the current state of knowledge, analyzing strengths and weaknesses and a proposed strategy for the development to be designed. Not only the production technology requires the start-up and design. If organic ornamental plants are produced in large numbers, efficient marketing channels must be made so that the production quantities and sell at a reasonable price. These objectives will be achieved with a two-part workshop for experts with a focus on 'production technology' and 'marketing'. The basic membership (producers, trading partners, representatives of ex officio and advisory organization, the certification bodies and testing laboratories) are invited to attend both workshops. Officers of the respective focal points will give presentations on their specific expertise and a stimulus for further discussion type. It is crucial that lead to constructive discussions during the workshop goal. This is a presentation by an external moderator required. As part of these discussions are the options for the two areas of production and marketing will be developed. It would be possible for the production area, a checklist for producers interested in conversion, in a specific area of marketing to-do list for the different levels of trade or for the producers. The precise objectives and working hypotheses / questions will define the project and the external moderator in consultation with the participants prior to conducting the workshops. Content and results of discussions during the workshops will be processed and the target clientele producer, made traders, consumers and consultants available.
