Contract period: 01.12.2002 - 31.12.2006
Purpose of research: Basic research

ACUTEX is aimed at the development of innovative approaches to define Acute Exposure Threshold Levels (AETLs) that could be used to develop acute exposure levels for use in implementring requirements of the Seveso II Directive (96/82/EC). Through the development of a Technical Guidance Document, the project is expected to foster a long-term and sustainable collaboration across the European Union in the establishment of acute exposure threshold levels and development of supporting scientific information.
