Purpose of research: Applied research
Attractive Phytochemicals and other volatile compounds, colours, geometric shapes or light are tested for their potential as loors for stored product insects. Optical and acoustic techniques of surveillance and monitoring are also tested. Traps are evaluated with and without bait in order to detect pests before stored goods are damaged.
