Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
The aim of the project 'Status-quo-analysis and elaboration of action options for the intensified integration of organic farming in the vocational education of farmers, gardeners and winemakers' is to reveal how organic farming has been integrated as topic into the vocational education in the German federal states so far. In addition, an intensified integration of contents of organic farming into agricultural and horticultural vocational training as well as into the training of winegrowers shall be achieved in Germany.
The project is divided into these parts:
1. Status-quo-analysis of the integration of organic farming into the vocational education of farmers, gardeners and winegrowers in the federal states so far: A large number of expert interviews are used to develop a nationwide overview of how organic farming is used in vocational education within the three professions.
2. In the federal states, so-called dialogue forums take place. Representatives from various institutions involved in vocational education are invited to participate. In addition to presenting and supplementing the findings of the Status-quo-analysis, measures are developed in the dialogue forums, which are to be implemented in the respective federal states for a more intensive integration of organic farming in vocational education and training.
