Description
It is a progressive institution that changes the national reality and educates professionals and citizens, critical individuals with scientific and technological knowledge that help in overcoming political, economic, social, cultural and enviromental issues. Its ability is doing the differential in preparing agronomist engineer, forester and biotechnology and bioprocess engineering, as well as masters and doctors, able to cope with the needs of the labor market and the society as a whole. It is distinguished by the ability to dare with responsability, innovate without compromising the quality of teaching, provide services to the community and development of research aimed technological innovation and sustainability.
In addition to undergraduate degrees in Agronomic Engineering, Forest Engineering, Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering, recognized for their excellence, the School offers five graduate programs in Agronomic Engineering: Agriculture, Energy in Agriculture, Horticulture, Irrigation and Drainage, Plant Protection and a Forest Science Program, all well evaluated by CAPES and recognized by the inclusion in national and international scene.
